LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED!πŸ™

I will bring HEALTH and HEALING to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant PEACE and SECURITY — Jeremiah 33:6

2020 has been a doozie. There are still 4 months for this roller coaster year to end and I’m encouraging you (and myself) to keep believing…

This isn’t the life that we all imagined or envisioned a few months ago. I just want to encourage you guys, in these times of uncertainty, we have a God that is certain. A God that Gifts us with peace that surpasses all understanding. So let us continue to pray and praise Him in the midst of this fear and anxiety and allow His presence to take over and overflow in our lives. Let us stay hopeful that God is bigger than this virus…

Friends, No matter how dark and gloomy this year may seem. God can still turn this year around. God can still do amazing things. God can still plant seeds and water them to grow big and strong. God can still fulfill dreams, bring breakthroughs and pour out His miracles. God can still give you that job. God can still bless your business. God can still provide abundance at your table. God can still send RAIN — and make it POUR. If the promise hasn’t happened, then He is not yet done.

NONE OF THESE THINGS ARE IMPOSSIBLE!!! He is the God who raised the dead to life. And He is the same God that will put this virus to its death. In Jesus name, we declare this. Amen God bless!

Blessings and Love….πŸ˜ŠπŸ™β€

  1. That’s uplifting, reassuring and true.
Sometimes I see that people, in this pandemic, complain, worry and let their emotions run high and so turn to science for answers. They never seem to turn to God though. They can not experience that feeling of peace inside, that reassurance, that light at the end of the tunnel without God.

  2. Yes, and He is also the same God Almighty that gave us a clear Revelation of what we can expect to come in so far as what mankind is capable of on both ends of the behavior spectrum; ultimately His will be done, but, not without the final conflict which is coming. πŸ™β€πŸ™

  3. Oh wow very touching word. I can add to that. I don’t know where to start. I will try to keep it down.

β€œWhenever we feel overwhelmed by the chaos and difficulty of life, we can turn to God in prayer for peace and serenity. In this time of uncertainty, fear, seclusion and separation from what we term β€˜normal,’ our human solution is to β€˜handle it ourselves.’ But that is not what our Bible and the Lord tell us. Turning to the Lord should be our first response, not our last resort.”

InΒ Philippians 4:6, theΒ BibleΒ tells us, β€œDo not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

β€œHow we can pray for peace is simple. First, honestly declare your belief and trust in God as your Lord and Savior. Then make your request of peace known to God in whatever personal sense you need.

β€œWhen terrible things are happening to us or to people around us, we can wonder: Is GodΒ reallyΒ good? Can GodΒ reallyΒ be trusted? Scripture tells us to suspend judgment as to whether something will prove to be good or badΒ in the end.

β€œCOVID-19 is a bad thing, but there are good gifts that God can bring even from this. As I think about my own life, and maybe this is true for you, through COVID-19, I have been reminded that I do not control my life. COVID-19 has shown me that I am utterly and completely dependent on the living God. If I think I am in control of things, that is merely a pleasant illusion.

β€œJesus Christ, God’s Son, knew that he was utterly, completely and totally dependent on his Father. So to the extent that you and I realize our dependence on God in these days, we are being conformed a little bit more into the image of his son Jesus.”

β€œWhen something bad happens to you β€” look forward to the glory that is coming.”

During this very difficult time, we are all going to suffer in one way or another. I pray that it is in a minor way. Lean on Jesus for your strength and keep your faith strong.

Thanks for bring this up today. A lot of people need to be reminded that God is still with us during this time.

God Bless Your heart. Have a Blessed weekend. πŸ₯°β€πŸ™πŸ™

  4. Thank you for this lovely post to be a reminder that we may not know the answers to the desperate questions we have today about our future, but our love for and faith in God can allow us to keep our joy and peace by looking to Him- not ourselves. We don’t always have to have the answers, because we always have God who does. I admit I falter on this daily with the hum of anxiety at a higher level than normal for me each day. But returning to this truth even though I may need to be reminded of that multiple times, let’s me exhale and gather strength from God for that next hour, or even just the next moment. Thank you for your uplifting words. God bless you and all your readers πŸ’žπŸ™

  5. Well timed and encouraging words, GodlyChic.
I am blessed by your attitude of love to all that post. What a great example.
Here is another article that I like that also deals with the difficulty of believing that God is love when life falls apart. It is maybe too long for most modern readers, but I found it encouraging.
    Peace and Love to all.

  11. Hello June.
I noted that you read about my son becoming engaged to marry a wonderful gal, a peer believer and contributor to our local Christian music worship scene. They are so cute together. Anyway, I did not recognize your blog so wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I don’t know how you found me, but I’m so glad you did. Our whole family are Christian and I am a story teller.
My blog is where I create, publish and curate a collection of stories. The first chronicles my life growing up in northern California. My model for this series is 2K words or less, funny, a tad rowdy but clean humorous stories that anyone should be able to read quickly and come away laughing without feeling like they need a shower afterwards.
At about 65 stories, this collection is about complete and I’m slowly switching to creating short fictional stories.
All my stories are written with my faith as a backdrop because I wanted even non-Christian readers to enjoy a story that is compatible with, but not centered on our faith. By them means, I hope to nudge more folks to understanding and being comfortable with the things of God.
You read one of my recent Coffee Share posts but can I recommend a couple of stories for your enjoyment. Maybe you will like them enough to share them with your readers because who does not need another reason to laugh these days?
Here are a few of my favorites:
    https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/the-inner-tube-adventure/
    https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/the-poppies-are-back/
    https://garyawilsonstories.wordpress.com/suffer-not-the-children/
… and then my newest pieces of fiction which suggests how normal people can become the instrument of God’s grace even though they are imperfect or injured themselves.

I hope you enjoy each of these and let me know what you think of my grand plan to encourage others to move closer to Christ with clean but some times rowdy stories.
    Blessings and thanks.
