I’m a firm believer that if you have a pulse, you have a purpose. I say this with my whole heart, Everyone needs a blessing. And if you have the ability to bless others, be a blessing. And when you are a blessing to others, you will find “joy unspeakable” in the process….

Matik Nicholls: One morning, as I was jogging around my neighborhood, I couldn’t help thinking about God’s promise to Abraham. In Genesis 12:3a (NKJV) God told Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you.”Every time I have thought about that verse it had been all about me. My attitude was like, “I am blessed! Woohoo! And don’t mess with me! If you curse me you better watch out!” But this morning God was showing me His heart for that verse. My focus was all wrong. His focus is actually on the second part of the verse: “And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
God wasn’t just trying to bless Abraham; He was sending His blessings to the whole earth through one man! That is AMAZING! And even more amazing is that this blessing transfer is part of our heritage. So often we tend to think that we are the center of the story, but we are not. Every gift, ability and blessing we have is for the service of others. We are blessers not blessees! We carry the presence of God wherever we go for a greater purpose than just for us to be happy. It is our privilege and purpose to transfer the blessings of God to others! Amen!
