To serve God and to serve others sacrificially is best done when we have a heart and mind overflowing with thankfulness….

In order for us to understand a true and pure heart of serving and giving, one must look no further than the cross. You see the greatest example of a serving heart that the world will ever know was done from a heart of sacrifice.

What is life without gratitude and giving? I’ve been feeling all kinds of grateful lately — it reminds me of how lucky I am, we are. This life is so so precious.

And it’s a reminder, that this 2019, my goal is to focus on giving back more —To children education efforts because education is the greatest equalizer in this world. To youth from disadvantaged/underpriveledged backgrounds — because sometimes they need the greatest mentorship and guidance.

And although these might look like lofty goals – they come from the heart. I’m not an influencer, or a Public figure or a pretty person — just here showing you my imperfect, messy, optimistic corner of my world.

And I want to bring you along the journey in 2019. Lets commit to helping others. Will you help me help them. There is truly no other experience like this. I can promise you that!πŸ˜ŠπŸ™β€

  1. Regarding this post, I can see that you have a heart for serving others. That’s neat. You mention education as being the great equalizer.Education is a good thing, but I don’t think it’s very helpful in changing people’s lives.Beginning a relationship with Jesus Christ is what really matters.

  2. I am an Atheist, but I commend you for what seems to be a life lived with genuine compassion and concern for others. May you be an example for other believers that appear to be moved more by gain and self interest than in being reflections of God….. Peace…..

  3. You are most definitely an influencer, influencing hearts and minds. The beauty, a big heart; on display. Others could only dream, to have a heart willing to aspire; to such lofty goals, may your wings take your heart even higher!
When I can, I will give another gift! Blessings!

  4. May the Lord continue to bless your giving heart! Your points about gratitude are well taken. I was taught earlier in this Christian life that gratitude is an action word: If I’m truly grateful for what has been given me, my actions and countenance ought to reflect it. Though I often lose sight of the multitude of blessings in my life, your reminder of the Cross of Christ has helped me re-focus this day.

  5. very interesting post and inspiring words on how we ought to actually live: GIVE, GIVE, GIVE, and just continue to give. May God help us.

Imagine if God never put in effort to use his creativity to create us, or a mother who never took time to nurture her off-springs; hardly would anything positive come out of these, except by the grace of GOD. In fact, to accomplish everything in life, we must give time, effort, or whatever.

Investment/giving (Not Expenditure) is the Basis of Accomplishments in Life.

    Thank you for sharing.

  6. Bless your heart. Thank you for all that you do. Giving and being a encourager.

And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: β€˜It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts of the Apostles 20:35 NLT

Why is it more blessed to give than to receive?

Knowing the whys often helps us follow through with the whats.

First, giving and blessing are gifts which come directly from God. God is a giver. When we give we are being like Him. Therefore as we give for the needs of others, we are blessed to serve and provide in the same way we receive from our Lord.

Second, when we give, we open the door to more blessings from God.

Like all parents, God wants to see His children being kind, generous, and loving. When He finds us doing those things, He encourages us to do more of those things by blessing us as we do them.

Third, when we give, we experience a unique closeness with God that can only come to us as we are generous and kind to others. As we give we open the door to that wonderful closeness with Him.

Finally, our giving means we have already been blessed. We don’t have to be the recipient who needs; we can be the blessed who is able to give.

Help our sister in Christ by giving spreading God’s love.

    God Bless You Richly. πŸ˜‡β€πŸ™πŸ™
