THIS #NewYear!

As you set goals for 2019, remember PROVERBS 16:3 ~ Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.

These words are speaking to my heart this morning. BUT are you stepping back and allowing God to do it?

I want to encourage you to have a confident expectation on good – because God had already gone ahead of you to prepare the year and provide for every want and need. There may be challenges along the way, but God’s LOVE is far greater and will deliver you from anything.

And If you want 2019 to be your year. Will you say this prayer with me: Today I speak over my life and that God covers me in the shadow of His wings. He who opened this door of opportunity for me will grant me wisdom to maximize and take full advantage over it. I am a performer and not a spectator in life. I was created for success. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I increase in all that I do. I advance in every area if my life. My tomorrow is better than my yesterday. My future is secured. Favor follows me. I see my way through challenges of life. I walk in light. Darkness is dispelled. No weapons formed against me shall prosper. In Jesus name. I believe. Amen!

After you say it, seize what you speak. Put in the work to create it. Faith without works is dead. This #NewYear. Be excited. BE in a place of Pursuit and Progress.

Your days are not behind you but ahead of you. Amen!πŸ™

  1. I loved your post! I too, have been reflecting on that same quote in scripture that we must commit all our work to God. I love that you wrote that we are performers and not spectators in this life. God has things He needs us to do. He inspires us to do these things, and He blesses the work of our hands and hearts.

  2. Happy New Year and God Bless! I’m screaming ‘Amen’ to this post. Committing to the Lord is the first step in conquering those weapons because no one said they wouldn’t form, just that they wouldn’t prosper. God’s word is your rock to declare defeat over the sword.

  3. I love this post, I have learnt to leave everything to him and always ask for his guidance in every decision I make and I don’t regret it. Have a good and wonderful year

  4. Thanks for bringing Proverbs 16:3 out into the early days of a New Year. I will carry your words with me today as I focus on my three key words for the year: faith, family, and health. May God’s blessings fill you up today!

  5. Amen! It truly is a matter of trust in all that God has promised each of us. Jeremiah proclaimed this great truth: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Though we must be sure not to confuse ‘prosper’ with earthly wealth, this awesome promise spoken so long ago assures us of the unmatched peace God will give us each day if we will walk in faith and trust in Him.

    Thanks for the encouraging word.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord . β€œThey are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
    Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

No matter what path we walk down, God is one step ahead. No matter what mountain we come up against, He is already climbing it. No matter what journey of uncertainty we encounter, God is 100 steps further. He’s laying out our path and preparing our steps. He’s flattening the land and preparing our journey. He’s uncovering our gold and laying it out for us. He sees our way.

For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Is 52:12

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. Isa 45:2

God is famous for caring and preparing us for greater things. He walks ahead to fight the battles we fear we can’t win. He calms the seas we’re convinced we can’t beat. He softens the blows we worry will take us down. He knows our road. He understands our coming trauma. He knows how to lead us through it.

God Bless You Richly. May God watch and protect over you. πŸ˜‡β€πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

  7. I was just thinking how I need to practice a positive recovery. I tend to back into blessings expecting some fallout or I just talk myself out of blessings so thanks for the shot of positive thinking on this new year.

  8. It is important “to have a confident expectation on good”, and I do believe that we must always thank goodness for finding the chance of living on such a beautiful planet. However, considering some insane behaviours of our civilizations, it is not easy to see a clear picture of the future where humanity will be in peace with goodness. I wish good people to have less sorrow in 2019, and much better days with each coming new year. (My Tweetures 2014: SORROW,

  9. Great to hear you say that. I love reading Proverbs. Usually read Proverbs by day for wisdom and knowledge, and Psalms by night for healing of the soul! Thanks for the post. May good health and prosperity find you this year and always.
