“She believed she could so she did.” is lovely and instills confidence, but that doesn’t last. I know a deeper truth. She believe she couldn’t, so He did. Where you can’t, God already has…

All day, in many things today, I felt like I couldn’t do it on my own. Has anyone ever felt like this. That’s me Today. There’s so much going on right now. So many life leaps in the works. But God provides. He provides more than I could ever imagine. He gives us a full inbox of opportunities to grow and start a domino effect of hope and love. So grateful for his love and mercy. He makes me whole. This reminds me of Moses who didn’t feel equipped — he couldn’t do it on his own. But then God instilled this truth in his heart: “The lord will fight for you, you need only be still.” (Exodus 14:14) Yes, he will. Be still. He is able.

And if I could share just one thing with you right now is this…😊 Throughout the Bible, every single person God chose besides Jesus, was broken, afraid, insecure, fearful, did not have enough money, did not have anything —And God moved through them to change history. God uses ordinary and imperfect people — shepherds, and farmers, to do astounding things. Even though we are ordinary. God can make the impossible possible when we humble ourselves and surrender to him. What a friend we have in Jesus. Amen!

So there you have it, I could tell you all about my day, but God’s story is so much better. God bless!😊

  1. It reminds me of something that I wrote down when pondering about the fate of a child that started its life out with a single parent and all kinds of limitations. I remembered the biblical story of Leah, the unwanted wife, whose children became the ancestry of Jesus. The child I mentioned is named Edelweiss. So, from these two ideas came the following:

You rise up from the rocks
    a solitary star
    a watching king from afar

The winds on hills are strong and cold
May your roots hold you firm
    On the mound of stone

    Flowers grow on fertile soil
    Overflown by human love
Down in valleys free from toil

    What grows on rock
    Unblessed by man and tribe
Like Leah blessed by God becomes

    From the rejected wife
    A king was born
    A friend of mankind
A lotus out of obscure waters

  2. “Where you can’t God already has” powerful quote
Sometimes we struggle by our selves, we assume we can do it by ourselves, we assume we are smart enough, but we should still remember that we are God’s baby, A child doesn’t know more than his father, and the good thing is God is never too busy for us, as a believer we have the holy spirit in us, talk to him and don’t struggle alone

  3. I like how you pointed out God use people that were broken and imperfect to do his work and be a voice for him! We all matter and looks, material things are just things. Great things come in all kinds of packages. Great post! Thank you

  4. I may have stated this previously, but I so admire your faith and strength . . . and exceptional posts. πŸ™‚ I’m as imperfect as it gets, so here is keeping the faith (and keeping it strong). Thank you for your words of heartfelt conviction. πŸ™‚

  5. I love your deeper truth! I get so tired of the “You can do anything you want!” cliche. You’re right, even if we could, it wouldn’t last.
On the other hand, we CAN do anything GOD wants us to. “God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.” πŸ˜‰

  6. β€œTrust in the lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways aconowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”
The journey gets easier when we trust his plans more than our most profound ambitions.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this. I love what you wrote at the end… β€œI could tell you about my day but God’s story is so much better!”

I also love how you shared the truth… God uses normal people to do His amazing work.

    God bless you!
