Measure your success only by what truly matters: Your happiness and the happiness you bring to others. If today you laughed, felt inspired or consoled a friend, smiled at a stranger, stood for a cause, or inched closer to one of your dreams, then today was a resounding success.

There are times: when you feel young and excited about what God has in store for you and then, there are those other times where you are anxious and worried because it seems like time is passing you by. In that moment: don’t look to your friends or to someone you look up to. Please don’t look to someone else’s life on Instagram. Don’t even look at your past accomplishments. Look to God. Let him wrap you up in his grace and and wait for what he is about to reveal to you.😊

There is nothing like walking in your lane and doing what God has specifically called you to do. As you are shifting, you will begin to realize that you are not the same person you used to be. Where you once remained quiet, you are now speaking your truth. You are beginning to understand the values of your choices and some situations that no longer deserve your time, energy and focus.

One thing you should never do? Spend time trying to prove to anyone that you are great, your actions will speak for themselves. When you are doing what God called you to do, you will never fail. Instead of trying to have everything figured out, try to figure this out: Have you ever seen a thirsty ocean? Or air grasp for breath? Has it ever seemed that the sky wanted to stretch out more or that the rainbow wanted more colours? Before you look for something, look at what you already have. Don’t ask for more than you need. Don’t let your wants replace your needs because a day will come when you will lose what you need to get what you want.

I have learned that as long as I hold fast to my beliefs and values and follow my own moral compass – then the only expectations I need to live up to are my own. And as long as we keep our hearts open and understand that there is so much more to each and every single one of us, we will accomplish all that we set set our hearts to do.πŸ’™ GOD BLESS!

Blessings and Love.😊

  1. It is a good post. Certainly, when I was young I would have agreed with this completely. I wish everything was so simple! When somebody is close to 60, practically 60, the perspective changes, it becomes short. It becomes much shorter. The older one gets, the more they recall the past, and then there is a moment when there is only past and one more moment. Well, you are giving a good advice and probably living by that also. It sounds sincere how you write it.
I simply think we cannot generalize anything. The world is so multifaceted.
It is so: you look at the universe, full of numerous planets and stars, and the endlessness of it is so vast. People will be on Mars in 20 years, and the Earth might experience a lot during this time, and there is no comparison between all the universal magic and small concerns of one person how to get their treatment or cure. I am not sure whether we should or should not try to achieve impossible. It is a driving force, and here and there it takes us nowhere.
It would be also great more people did not ask for more, yet, that is all they do: ask for more all the time, and not only ask, but fight and kill and do terrible things. Only to have more of things which are meaningless, but, unfortunately that is how we are measured. I wish people were praised for their talent, not their belongings, yet, I have seen this being wrong for as long as I live.

      1. I thank you for being a part of God’s blessings yourself, reading your words of gratitude for His gifts that are all around us – ALL THE TIME! Amazing isn’t it? God indeed blesses you – and me – and all who call His name and see.
